THE EGO VS HIGHER SELF


The EGO is the perception of ourselves, what we believe identify us; such as ethnicity, gender, age, a career or a certain job, a higher or lower income. These are known as "over-identifying", and when we do this we are resonating with a lower consciousness by creating a barrier with "lacking" and "limitation".

It's constantly living in a state of fear, of letting go, fear of failure, or judgment. You'll align with your HIGHER SELF once you realize you are not your age, or what you do, you are not your body nor your beliefs, you are infinite possibilities.


CONTROL


You can do anything, you’re constantly creating your reality, what you think, say and do sends an energy to the universe that you get right back so don’t expect to have a positive life without a positive attitude. Find who you are without falling into anybody's mold that they have created of you to fit their necessities. It's a part of the human experience to have negative thoughts and there’s nothing wrong with that, it's what you do with those thoughts that seem to be uncontrollable, do you keep them or do you forgive yourself for having these thoughts and walk away from them?

When you indulge with negative emotions you are giving away the power over your happiness where you may not be able to control a situation but you have the opportunity to control your emotions and that's where your strength relies.


NOW O'CLOCK


Your best life begins once you realize you only have one. There's a reason why your soul has chosen this body, chose to be in this generation and in this moment in time and it’s not to be wasted. You can become everything you've ever dreamed of, just the fact that you've dreamed it means it's available to you, it's waiting for you to elevate and take what you deserve. The ideas you have in your head were put there for a reason, they are for you to accomplish, they are yours to create, your imagination is your destination and the moment is now.

Accept, embrace, love and forgive yourself to ultimately become the best version of yourself, don't be afraid of failure, be afraid of mediocrity. That book? Write it. That movie? Make it. That idea? Develop it. That blog? Start it. That business? Grow it. Don't wonder, just do.


YOU


Adjust your attitude towards yourself, treat yourself with respect and admiration, the brain doesn't know the difference between positive or negative thoughts, the brain will believe whatever you believe, so when you look in the mirror and say "I'm fat", or "I'm ugly" would you say that to someone else? If not, why would you say it to yourself? What are you accomplishing with that? You are here to feel good, to achieve and live happy, if you don't like something, adjust it, change it but don't put yourself down, stop mistreating yourself because you are loved, you are appreciated, and someone in this world needs you.

You were given one life, one shot to be the greatest at something and when you come from greatness itself why would you be anything but great? Understand you were not born to fail you were born to exceed and the Universe will provide the tools you need once you believe it too.


THE RESISTANCE

MIND VS BRAIN = YOU VS YOU


The resistance is the internal battle between your mind and your brain. There's a part of your brain that functions on autopilot and it doesn't want you to succeed, it's that side of you that feels comfortable, it's the habit of saying "I'll do that tomorrow", the part of you that feels sleepy when it actually has to put in work, it's the reason why you may not be where you want to be right now. Now your mind is awareness, it wants to expand knowledge and be successful, your mind is not confined to the brain but to the soul, it feels and connects with emotions. These two coexist within you as if they were two different personalities which is why we may feel conflicted with ourselves at times.

However, just as the brain doesn't know between good or bad thoughts it also does not differentiate good or bad habits, so start by replacing some old habits with new positive ones and win at war against yourself.

Start with gratitude for what you have, don't forget you could have less, however just because you have food on your table and a roof over your head doesn't mean you can't want more, you can be grateful and still strive for greatness.
