The way we use time determines our life and being more productive takes time! I myself am a recovering procrastinator so let's see what you can do in order to use time more effectively.

Are your daily actions getting you closer to where you want to be? If not, why are you chillin' so much?

SET UP A REALISTIC SCHEDULE - Be realistic with your time, think about how long is a task going to take you and based on that set realistic timelines and due dates.

MAKE ROOM FOR DISTRACTIONS - Let's face it we all get distracted at times so we might as well make room for it. The truth is we need to be distracted from time to time, the idea of waking up early and going to bed late and all you do is work is unrealistic. schedule your distractions and that way you'll still get work done in time.

IF IT'S HARD TO TAKE ACTION ON PLAN SET A DATE ON IT - It's you vs your time - wanna make sure you do something and not dwell on it forever? Set a due date! It can get hard if you're a professional procrastinator like me and you're thinking "I set the date I can change it" or "I can be late a day or two I don't care" and ends up being two weeks. This thinking is why you are where you are trying to find a way out, it's time to take yourself seriously.

TO DO LIST - Checking things off a list can feel very rewarding and will get you closer to your goals, one by one. Start with the hardest tasks first, since it requires a bigger physical or mental capacity it only makes sense to get rid of them before, once you're done with the shark you only have the fish left!

BREAK GOALS INTO STEPS - Set your goals and break down actionable steps to work towards these goals. MEASURE PRODUCTIVITY as results on what you produce and not how long it took you to do it.

DECLUTTER - Declutter your space, declutter your mind. This is great way to trick your brain, your life is a reflection of your mind so naturally when your surroundings are cleaned and organized your mind tends to want to follow that pattern.

MORNING & NIGHT ROUTINES - Have your morning and night routine set saves you time and it allows you to get more done knowing what you're gonna do before you do it so you don't waste time thinking on what's next

REWARD YOURSELF - Treat yourself when you accomplish your goals, buy yourself something nice or just sit and relax watching movies. This gives you a feeling of accomplishment which then motivates you to get things done.

STAY COMMITTED - Understand that you cant be motivated all the time, we all have those days where we just want to curl up in bed and do nothing and that's valid, so don't feel guilty or feel as if you're not doing enough if you're having a bad day or a couple. Just keep in mind that to get where you want to be you have to do what you haven't done, and that includes doing the work even when you don't feel like it because guess what? You're never going to feel like it, your strength relies in doing what you have to do until you can do what you want to do.

DETERMINATION - If you can't stop thinking about it, don't stop working for it. Success is achieved by ordinary people with extraordinary determination, think about what drives you, what's the life you keep dreaming about and how can you achieve that. Work for your future self, for where you want to wake up in 20 years, push yourself because no one will do it for you.

PARENT YOURSELF - You are now the person who has to make you do the things you don't want to do, motivation is not gonna come knocking on your door, you have to fight the physical force and not hit the snooze button, get out of bed early and go for that walk or run you said you were going to, exercise everyday if you said so, read more if that's what you proposed, be everything you've always wanted so you can elevate your life to the highest form, stop living your life on autopilot and grab the wheel. All day long you have ideas that can change your life and the world and what do you do with them? Be what you are missing to yourself.

VISUALIZE- Visualize yourself in the highest form, visualize who you want to become and start showing up as that person don’t wait until you are, behave as if you were. When you visualize you’re creating images in your mind of what you desire most you‘re generating powerful thoughts and attaching emotions to those images with the feeling of having and eventually turn into a reality. So visualize your productivity, how you want your day to go, picture yourself doing these things and you will do them naturally.

Final words: Don’t look at yourself today and think this who you are forever.
